Data controller

CheerUp AB (559382-4567) is the data controller for the personal data processed when you buy from inevitable, contact us, subscribe to the newsletter or visit inevitablebyx.se. Send questions about your data to hello@inevitablebyx.se.

CheerUp AB Gädderedsvägen 2 515 61 Svaneholm Sweden

Purchases

When you buy, we process your name, address, email, phone number, order details and payment status. We use them to deliver your order, send the order confirmation and handle returns and complaints. The legal basis is performing the purchase contract with you. We need this data to accept your order.

What is needed for accounting is kept for seven years after the end of the calendar year of the purchase, as Swedish accounting law requires. Other order data is erased when the three-year period for complaints has passed.

We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna may carry out a credit check, for which Klarna is responsible.

Customer service

When you email us or write to us on social media, we process your name, your contact details and what you write, so we can reply. If the question concerns a purchase, the legal basis is the purchase contract; otherwise our legitimate interest in answering questions. We keep the correspondence for no more than three years after the last contact.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and the time you signed up. The legal basis is your consent. The data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.

Visits and cookies

When you visit the site, your IP address and technical information about your browser are processed in server logs, to deliver the pages and protect them from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working site. The logs are erased automatically after a short time.

Some data is stored in your browser so the site works: your bag (until the purchase is complete or the bag is emptied), your language (12 months) and your choice in the cookie banner (until you clear your browser). At checkout, cookies keep your session. These are necessary and so need no consent.

With your consent to statistics, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. With your consent to marketing, we use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok pixel to measure and target our ads. They record, among other things, which pages you visit, what you add to your bag and whether you complete a purchase. The legal basis is your consent. Without consent, neither Google Analytics nor the pixels load. Cookies from Google, Meta and TikTok are kept for at most two years.

For the collection through the pixels, we are joint controllers with Meta and TikTok. How they then use the data is their own responsibility, under their privacy policies.

You accept statistics and marketing separately and can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

Social media

We publish posts on our own accounts on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We do not collect data about individual followers into our own systems. The platforms give us aggregated statistics on how our accounts are used. For those statistics, we are joint controllers with Meta and TikTok respectively. If you follow, like or comment on our posts, the platform's own privacy policy applies.

Who we share data with

We only share the data that is needed. PostNord receives your name, address and phone number to deliver your order. Kustom, Stripe and the payment service you choose, such as Klarna or Swish, receive what is needed for the payment. They are controllers of their own processing. The site is run on Vercel and the shop on Simply.com. They process data on our behalf, as processors. Google, Meta and TikTok receive measurement data if you have given consent. We never sell your data.

Some of these companies may process data outside the EU/EEA. The transfer is then protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a machine-readable format. You can always withdraw a consent. This does not affect processing that took place before. Data we must keep by law is erased when the legal requirement ends. Email hello@inevitablebyx.se and we reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy.se).
